He can't stop talking about his extended special appearance!

The one of a kind specimen of Bollywood, Bappi Lahiri has bagged yet another film as an actor to make a jacka** out of himself.

He will now be seen along side Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna‘.


This dharti pe boj music director had announced his acting debut as a lead star in a film titled ‘Rocking Dard-e-Disco‘ just a few days ago. By the way, ‘lead star‘ isn‘t a typo error!

The Bitch laughed her guts out on hearing about it. Especially, when she heard that he would be starring alongside Rituparna Sengupta (young enough to be his daughter) and also the Ash fake Sneha Ullal (young enough to be his grand daughter). Ok, more about this ‘family film‘ later!

Coming back to the Salman film, The Bitch learnt that it was Sallu Miya himself who called Bappi Da to join them for a shooting schedule in Australia. Thrilled about getting a paid holiday Bappi Da rushed to Oz and came back after a month.

Sharing his experience with The Bitch, he said, "Salman is a big fan of mine and he was running behind me for a long time to do a small role in a film starring him. So when he called me I couldn‘t say no. You know well how famous my two minute role in ‘Om Shanti Om‘ became and how my ‘OK OK OK‘ song from OSO is now a super hit too."

The Bitch fell off her chair laughing when she heard this. So she really needs some time to react to this!

But don‘t you think they called you because they needed a clown as they were getting damn bored there? What with Kareena forever busy on the phone cootchie cooing with Saif, Salman being banned from painting in Australia and Sohail from its beaches!

"I was told the role would be an important part of the script. I‘ll be seen as a big NRI business tycoon. Plus I would be getting to sing two songs, out of which one will be picturised on me too. You know originally I was supposed to shoot for just a week but it was extended to a month because they liked my acting work. My scenes were multiplied as they made the role bigger and better."

Wait till the final edited copy is out Bappi da!!

By the way, your ‘Rocking Dard-e-Disco‘ sounds like a direct to DVD release? How do you expect people to pay for it to come and watch it in the theaters?

"It is a mega musical. It has something for everybody. The music will rock and everyone will love it. The trend has changed nowadays. People like to see famous musicians like us on the big screen. My fan following has increased after my reality show judge stint."

So has music direction now taken a back seat? Looks like even C-Grade offers like the films you been doing recently (‘Bold‘, ‘Meri Majboori‘, ‘Bombay Girls‘ kinds ) have stopped too!

"Music willl always remain my first priority (now don‘t they all say that?) I have already begun work on my new album-‘My Love Disco King Bappi Da‘. I am roping in an American actress, Dyna to feature in the music video along side me and it will also feature Jetta who is a rapper with 50 Cent. Wait and watch it is going to be a rocking hit."

Yes, The Bitch will wait and watch but till then you better watch your weight. You may burst any time soon Bappi Da!
