Zayed Khan has a surprise for wife on anniversary
Meet Zayed Khan the non-acting actor who wants to save his career with a special appearance in ‘Yuvvraaj‘.
When Subhash Ghai was clear with Kats that she wouldn‘t get a substantial role in the film, The Bitch does not even want to think what his brief to Zayed was.
Zayed thought it would be cool to do a grown up extension of what he did in ‘Main Hoon Na‘ but ever since, where has he been?
Do you guys remember Zayed in anything that is watchable? After his marriage like Fardeen, this Khan‘s career has also gone for a toss.
But look at the audacity of the insensate actor. He says, "I don‘t know what the outcome of the film will be. I told Salman bhai that if it‘s a hit, we‘re lucky."
Otherwise it seems the film had no chance without their luck quotient being tested here.
So here‘s what wifey Malaika advised. "Zayed baby, don‘t worry, the film is releasing on our anniversary and if it‘s a hit, we‘ll party, and if it flops, we‘ll party harder."
To which Zayed baba responded, "Cool Malli, roll a joint."
Uhh...ok I made that up a bit, but what kind of logic applies to these people‘s lives?
‘Yuvvraj‘ is certainly touted to be the biggest turkey of the year. Rahman‘s music has not caught on; the operatic tempo of the film is not working across the board with audiences.
What could save the film is Anil Kapoor‘s turn as an autistic tenor. The promos showing Zayed have him in a negative shade. Is Zayed ready to make the leap of faith? Since he‘s never made it as a solo hero, maybe he can be the bad guy from now.
Zayed in defense of his never taking of career has justly signed up for a film due for release in 2009, titled ‘Dhoondhte Reh Jaoge‘.
Smart boy, we get the hint. In the film and even otherwise, we will use the film name as a clue to things that we should not look forward to in the coming year. One more lame Khan bites the dust.
