The Fashion Bitch spreads out in a rose garden
Hello people! Hugs hugs and tight hugs! I missed you guys so much. Did you guys miss me?
I was away in Chennai, at the multi-brand retail store launch of Kimaya at Chennai and Bangalore.
Along with Sridevi and Vijaya Mallya, Neha and Pradeep Hirani, I went king-fishing. Keeping my busy schedule in mind, they couriered across the flight tickets to avoid any inconvenience for me. So I had to zip and make a short strip...trip.
Sridevi is stunning. At 46 she looks almost as beautiful as a woman in her prime. Draped in a magnificent green and red georgette drape, she gave me a feeling that if she makes a comeback, she can give the top-rung actresses a run for their money.
Yes I know its a heavily worked saree, but which Bollywood babe wants to turn out in less bling?
The blood-red nail polish and her accessories looked perfect with her saree. I caught up with her on her ‘Malini Iyer‘ days, ‘aiyyo‘ it was such a frightful comeback for telly folks no?
I often keep hearing news in bits and pieces about Mallya. Rich, powerful, charismatic...The liquor baron was asked to cut ribbons. He looked dazed. Where are the bunnies? Tch, tch.
He was smartly dressed in a formal suit, and I had nothing much to say about his dressing. I was wondering why women often swoon over him. He does have an eye of the cabin crew chicks on his flight. I had to rush out, as I had to catch a flight back to Mumbai for Guddu‘s Fashion show.

The man, who often claims that he caters only to the rich and the elite, was somehow not too pleased to see me.
I have never written good things about his designs.
Flowers were the inspiration behind his creation, so he ended up stuffing his models in, something that came across to me as floral bags. Look at this design.
Being creative is okay, but does that mean prohibiting others to stand anywhere close to her.
The girl‘s expression is as threatening as her dress. Those sharp projections look so scary. Seems Rohit has a fetish for spikes. The colour combo is interesting, but the outfit leaves a lot to be un-desired. If you need a mini cushion, snap one out from her dress please.
Nethra, being a top model had to sport a rodent blanket with its tail intact and pink flamingo stockings. What kind of fashion is this? Dirty rodents have to be skinned to cover these girls.Hold on to her tail at a party, this arm candy, now tail candy.
Poor models, have to starve, just to sport such hideous clothes. What has she been chewing in the garden? The huge valley of roses stuck around her skinny shoulders and collar bones does nothing to add to the fugliness of the dress. Are we dressing for Halloween?
He didn‘t spare the guys either. Sahil Shroff waked the ramp sporting...what was that? An incomplete effort to make a sherwani. Rohit must have got bored in between and made it into a blazer with blotchy floral patches which look better on my carpet. And why the bajrangi mini muffler?
I mistook his muse Inder Bajwa for some Arabian coolie. A blazer with patches of big red flowers, coupled with petticoat pants, a red muffler. My God! What sprung up in Guddu‘s backyard!
Whom does Rohit sell his designs to? God embrace all those who have illusions about any designer‘s clothes off the ramp.
The dizzying designs of his clothes, I could do with some jet-lag. See you soon loves.

God bless you. I enjoyed reading your views and comments about Rohit Bal‘s show. Can‘t believe at one time, say 10 years ago, his designs were coveted by one and all. What you notice is the fall of a once great couturier. Quite sad.
