Mahesh Manjrekar: Tyrant judge on the prowl | 2008-08-12
Seems like a psychopath on TV these days!
Mahesh Manjrekar is generally known to make movies on the underworld, but we didn‘t know he emulated the bhai attitude in real life too.
These days he‘s been scaring the wits out of almost every contestant on the show ‘Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket‘.
As such, the show has not been short of controversies. With contestants going for each other‘s throats on the show, Mahesh‘s tyrant ways will only add to the spice.
These reality shows hardly have even an ounce of truth in them anyway! And when Ekta Kapoor is at the helm, things can only get worse.
Mahesh went overboard with one of the contestants called Sayantam to the extent that the guy was actually in tears.
Maybe all those years of not being able to intimidate his actors have made him this blood thirsty judge that he‘s turned out to be.
Explaining what happened, a unit member says, "Mahesh told them that their performance lacked energy. He told Sayantam that he should have been more expressive but Amrita and Zeenatji were happy with their performances."
As usual the contestant like many others had a family issue as well. Somehow all these contestants who are admonished have some heart cringing family issues, purely for public sympathy.
Mahesh though is hardly affected by all this and continues on his merry way reprimanding every living soul alive!
This is not the first time that Mahesh has displayed his arrogance. Earlier, when another contestant Twinkle Bajpai wanted to quit show, it was Mahesh who told her that if she wants to leave the show she can leave it right away before the results are announced.
As long as the TRPs are up the makers won‘t even mind Mahesh killing one of the contestants. The way things are going, it seems quite likely!
