Some singing contest judges under The Bitch's microscope
The Bitch gets mighty irritated whenever she switches on the TV and catches some singing talent hunt show these days.
No, don‘t get her wrong, it‘s not the singers but it‘s actually the show judges that grate on her nerves.
So it was time she exposed and discussed some on and off the screen stuff about them with her patrons.
Since Zee‘s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009‘ and ‘Amul Star Voice of India 2‘ stand out amongst the almost identical shows on numerous channels, The Bitch decided to get honest about these guys only!
Himesh Reshammiya- Himesh spares no chances to hog the limelight whenever he gets a chance to speak.
Going further beyond, he also leaves no chance to snatch the limelight when the other judges are trying to speak.
Forever speaking in a yelling tone and making over dramatic reactions, he claims he is doing all this for his fans! Show The Bitch one sane person who enjoys your nautanki and she will quit writing, Himesh!
Also, he is the most unpopular person on the sets. The rest of the judges keep losing their cool during shooting schedules of every episode whenever Himesh tries to throw in his ‘superstar‘ attitude!
Shankar Mahadevan- He‘s one of the most sensible and non-controversial and talented personas in the judges team.
He is forever calling trouble from Himesh who leaves no opportunity to pass sarcastic comments about him.
Shankar may appear Mr. Cool on camera but he does lose his temper and flare up when people around him throw attitude.
The tone of his voice changes rapidly then and he gets ready to take on anyone coming his way.
A close source tells The Bitch that Shankar may open his ‘third eye‘ any day soon and his ire would be directed at Himesh.
He has already begun it by giving Himesh back verbally. But the gentleman has still managed to keep the subtle tone intact.
Aadesh Shrivastava -He thinks he has the most ‘scientific‘ knowledge about music compared to his co-judges.
He takes glee in being outspoken but most of his bluntness is directed towards singers mentored by other judges.
Also, he is forever on the look out for the opportunity to take digs at Himesh. Both he and Himesh hardly speak off screen and keep giving khunnas bhara stares to each other during breaks!
The Bitch‘s source close to Aadesh tells her that he‘s mighty jealous of Himesh‘s success, more because of the fact that he considers himself way ahead of him in all the departments, including looks!
Pritam - In terms of consistent success in the music field, Pritam is a step ahead of the rest of the judges, all thanks to his Copy Cat factory with which he‘s fast minting big money.
But he appears like a clown when compared to his co-judges.
Forever sitting on the fence he tries to steer clear of any controversy.
If a war of words erupts on the show, he decides whose side to take and that depends upon who he thinks might end up winning the argument!
He‘s not taken seriously by anyone on the sets! During shoot breaks he mostly keeps to himself and keeps listening to his iPod.
Perhaps he is utilizes his time to hear more Thai-Korean tunes to steal!
Ismail Darbar- He‘s hands down the second most irritating judge on singing talent hunt shows after Himesh.
Thank God, he‘s now in the other reality show, ‘Star Voice of India‘.
He has an attitude bigger than his rotund size.
Despite a gone in the dumps career he still continues to live in the past and behaves as if he is the hottest property in the music field.
His comments, mostly in chaste Urdu are often sleep inducing to the viewers.
He has strong hunger pangs once the shoot begins and is constantly waiting for the break to be announced so that he can hog on the sandwiches and samosas.
Monty Sharma- If Mimoh is a baby elephant look-alike; he is a big Gorilla look-alike brought straight out of an African jungle to scare the kids.
But with those silly out of fashion beads, he appears unintentionally hilarious!
He tries to put on a fake accent and style but all his attempts go in vain.
The Bitch ends up laughing her guts out watching his facial expressions whenever a singer is singing well.
He was an assistant to Ismail Darbar once, so he‘s full of respect for him off the sets and uses the ‘filmiest‘ of maskamaro type language while speaking to him once the camera is off.
Sukhvinder Singh-The only lady boy amongst the judges!
What an irony this man is?
He sings the most robust numbers for macho men on screen but God, he‘s such a chammak challo off the screen!
You know what The Bitch is hinting at, don‘t you?
Well, he speaks less when the show is on and avoids controversies.
An extremely thanda judge, his comments are often laced with extreme diplomacy.
He avoids voicing his honest opinion, perhaps to leave an impression as, "I am the nicest judge."
Maybe he thinks that‘ll help him to remain in the good book of all parties!
