Abhijeet Sawant signs his first Bollywood film

The Bitch is already irritated and in a helpless frame of mind at musicians Himesss bhai and Sonu Nigam for torturing her, by constantly and deligently pursuing acting.

As if that was not enough, now Abhijeet Sawant is also joining the bandwagon. He is all set to shoot for his debut film ‘Lottery‘. Lag gayi lottery producer ki.

"Since last two years I am getting offers for films but I was going through lot of scripts but then nothing came that interested me came my way. I liked this script and agreed to do it,", he said in an interview recently. Oh really?

He is talking like a wannabe. Can beggars be choosers Abhijeet? Which offers are you talking about? Which good production house will ever dare to cast you, when they are doubtful about casting second league actors? Other actors may have rejected the role and so left with no choice, it was offered to you.

Even his singing career never took off, and like many reality show winners, he gradually disappeared into oblivion. Infact, he is contemplating pursuing acting seriously.

"I always wanted to be singer and never thought I‘d see myself in films. But I have been getting offers since the last two years. It is just that now I am thinking to take it up seriously. My acting workshop has already started."

Don‘t talk about workshops Abhijeet. It scares us. If at all you want to experiment, please disappear after your first film. The audience can‘t afford to bear one more disaster like ‘Karzzz‘ or ‘Love In Nepal‘.

The director of the film, Hemant Prabhu confirmed that Abhijeet will not play the role of a singer or composer, like Himess bhai. He will only dance. So what is so great about it? How many Bollywood masala films have been without dance sequences?

The question however is, can he dance? We have all seen the singing clown lamely shake his leg in ‘Nach Baliye‘. Wonder who will go to watch him prance in his films.

Boy, you have a good voice. Stick to singing. Haven‘t you learnt a lesson from Sonu‘s disastrous spell in films? Take some lessons in singing instead. There is a dearth of good voices in Bollywood. Music workshops may help Bollywood instead.

No need for the criticism

Abhijeet is a great guy and an awesome singer. He‘s the only Indian idol whose still around and making a name for himself. All the other so called "indian idol winners" have disappeared. There‘s nothing wrong in trying out acting...he might be good at it and anyway it wont be a big deal if he‘s not...he still has his career as a singer. You don‘t have to watch his movie if you don‘t like him....it‘s not like anyone is forcing you is it? Abhijeet has proven himself to be a great singer and he‘s massive fan base proves it..so why not try out other things?? whats wrong with that?? If he doesnt do anything you‘ll start talkin sh*t about him and say Abhijeet Sawant has disappeared into oblivion bla bla bla and if he so much as even tries to do something you start passing judgements before he even starts! What the hell is the guy supposed to do?! I guess it‘s really hard to please people who only look for reasons to condemn others. And by the way Abhijeet and his wife were amazing in nach baliye....they danced really really well and he surely does not deserve to be falsely ridiculed this way for no reason.
You know Bombaybitch..I normally agree with your reviews...it‘s fun reading them but this time you are totally incorrect. Don‘t criticize someone just for the sake of it cuz it makes you look silly and stupid.
Well thats it from me :) Lookin forward to reading "real reviews" from you :) Later!! | Nikita
