Bollywood stars are in no mood to reconcile differences
Personal relationships seem to take a toll on professionalism in Bollywood. Stars not only refuse to work with all those they have once had a spat with, but also influence their friends and near and dear ones not to work with them.
Recently, Katrina Kaif refused a film with Vivek Oberoi. She holds that Salman Khan is justified in not forgiving Vivek.
Vivek had openly declared in a press conference, that Sallu bhai, under the influence of alcohol and puppy love, had threatened to kill him, if he doesn‘t give up his friendship with his then lady love Ash, and also accused him of a philandering lifestyle with several other Bollywood actresses. A truly filmy masala script scooped up on national television.
A few days later, Vivek‘s sweetheart, dumped him.
However, even after five years Sallu bhai has yet not forgotten the insult and the accusation. Vivek tried to befriend his enemy by asking for apology publicly, on several occasions, but Salman has not only snubbed him every time, but has resolved not to let any of his dear friends work with him either.
More than five years later, Kats, who was not even a part of the industry then, has refused to work with Vivek Oberoi. True love is it? Who said Kats is fed up of Sallu Bhai?
Nonetheless, why should the poor producers suffer?
Take Aditya Chopra‘s case for instance. Ash seems to be insecure about Rani, as Abhi was supposedly about to marry Rani before he started romancing Ash. Rani also made some uncomplimentary remarks about her when their friendship soured.
The Chopra-Bachchan friendship dates back to the 70s. A few of Big B‘s major hits have been given by Yash Chopra. Yet, Abhishek refused an Aditya Chopra film, apparently because Ash didn‘t want him to work with Rani, though she agreed to work with Hrithik, despite her thanda onscreen kiss in ‘Dhoom 2‘ not going down well with her hubby and sasurji.
Afterall, it requires too much guts to refuse a Bhansali film even after ‘Saawariya‘. Especially when Hrithik is in the new film, who would say no?
Truly said, no amount of beauty, fame and prosperity, is a guarantee to security.

Do you really think Abhishek turned down that silly looking Rani (with a mustache) movie because of Ash? LOL
YashRaj movies especially with Rani have all flopped except CDI over the last two years. They are making terrible movies while others like UTV have quality movies. Abhishek is smart to stay away since his cameos in their movies have hurt his standing. Good move on his part.
