Sonu Nigam is facing the music for his own blunders

For more than a decade, singing sensation Sonu Nigam, has been entertaining music lovers, with one hit after the other.



He has been fortunate enough to to achieve a lot, at a very young age, thanks to his cute looks, and The Bitch definitely gives him credit for that too. He for sure has worked hard, and had his share of struggle.

Looking back at his career, The Bitch doubts, if he has been able to handle his success with care?

Numerous controversies, catfights with his male colleagues, publicly badmouthing and mimicking his contemporaries, countless flings, and experimenting time and again with acting, which is not his forte, has marked his singing career.

Ofcourse, the Bitch gives it to him, that he was very young, just in his early twenties, when he catapulted to fame post ‘TVS Sa Re Ga Ma‘, and we all learn through mistakes, but his slew of controversies, continue till date.

Does he sing for the love of it, or for glamour and stardom?

Recently, in an interview, post his concert in Germany, on being asked, if there is a difference in treatment meted out to singers from actors in India, he said, "The difference is, that as a singer , if you just depend on movie songs then you can not make your own identity as a celebrity.

You become a celebrity but you always get the second kind of treatment. Everywhere in the West or everywhere in the world, not just west but in the world, singers and actors and sportsmen are treated the same way.

In India there was a practice of only looking down upon the singers because the singers were only part of the background. Now the singers are coming up in the front and although we don‘t have any good companies in India who are promoting good music. Really, essentially good music is not being promoted. "

Does Rehman ever bother to come to the limelight through controversies, like you and Himess? He is still featured in the list of the five most powerful men in Bollywood. His work speaks for him.

Every second year, the audience finds you wandering away from your core skill, and try your hand at acting. To face the camera for big screen requires a different screen presence altogether.

Icons like Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri, Sridevi, Tabu, have been tremendously dedicated towards it, and have worked very hard for it.

If you aim to be a superstar, by merely taking some time out off your busy schedule to prance and move your facial muscles in front of the camera, just for the heck of it, then think again boy. You need to have dedication towards your skill, and pursue it with passion.

The Bitch has no doubt, that he was definitely, the best judge on ‘Indian idol 1‘, encouraging, dignified and to the point. However, what was it about the controversy involving Subhash K Jha with him?

What made him go public and reveal to the media that Jha had asked sexual favours from him? Didn‘t the Vivek Oberoi episode teach you a lesson? We all know such incidents happen in the industry, and that he had written an article in TOI asking you not to be jealous of Himess bhai...Boy, silence is golden...Your silence would have spoken for you.



Everyone knows, Himess will disappear in a year or two. Your immature reaction is indicative of your insecurities. Why do you have to get into public catfights and controversies with Himess who is much much junior to you in music? It‘s derogatory to your dignity.

Even in the past, you have mimicked Kumar Sanu and showed him in poor light in the public, who is much senior to you. Whatever be the reason, it doesn‘t reflect well on a celebrity, who is an idol for many youngsters.

The Bitch‘s advice to you is to make the maximum advantage of your core talent, which is singing. You have been blessed with a good voice, exploit it to the T, dedicate your time and focus on it. Try to be original instead of trying to get inspired by your seniors, and 20 to 30 years down the line, you too can make it to the list of legends.
