Another one in Prachi Desai's string of Wifey roles!
She danced her petite little rear from a reality show straight into Bollywood. With a little help from her ‘special‘ friend Ekta Kapoor.
But there‘s only that much BFF Ekta can do for her. She can pimp for her with the who‘s who of the industry, but sure as hell can‘t help Prachi act!
So far she‘s had two very forgettable roles, including in ‘Rock On‘, both as the obscure wife, lurking somewhere in the background until summoned by her master… aka Husband.
Prachi Desai should just thank her stars that with the screen presence of an inflatable doll she‘s still part of the entertainment industry. But poor acting skills are not her only failing. She‘s also a little slow on the uptake.
She‘s just landed another role, and guess who‘s producing? Yes it‘s the Angry Young Dyke of Bollywood Ekta herself! And now guess what part Prachi will play?

Maybe Ekta‘s trying to vicariously live her fantasy through the male protagonist.
Prachi recently waxed and waned in an interview about being type cast as the wife in all her roles. Her second film ‘Life Partner‘ with Ekta‘s little brother also casts her as the Missus. What could the mystery be? Umm, maybe Prachi‘s the kinda girl you take home to meet your mother. You‘d never want to take her out in public though!
The film‘s called ‘Once Upon A Time‘ and Prachi plays the wife of a Don in this one. So she‘s been busy trying to figure out what a working class Muslim girl in the 70‘s looked like, dressed like and behaved like. But I‘d like to offer her a piece of advice. Take a chill pill hon! You‘ve probably got five scenes in the film with hopefully one with dialogues. Don‘t stress that pretty little head too much or you might shatter the pea inside!
Q: What do you call a Blonde who dies her hair black?
A: Artificial Intelligence!
