One look at the top ten tax payers in the industry and the details of the Moolah they‘ve had to dole out makes the recession look like the figment of a deluded economist‘s imagination!

Akshay Kumar topped this illustrious list, trumping even the suave business man in Shahrukh Khan! Akshay jumped from a paltry 12 Crore last year to a thumping 31 Crore rupees this year. Seriously, I don‘t even know how many zeroes that is!







SRK in close at heel with just under 31 Crore, and Salman Khan rakes in 14 big ones and Saif Ali Khan looks all set for a blissful midlife crisis with almost 9 Crore in taxes!

It‘s not like we needed further proof of who rules the roost, but Aishwarya came in at number six and Abhishek at number eight. If at all there was a Pre-Nup agreement in this marriage, we‘re certain it was Ms Rai trying to protect her estate!
