As Chak De India's glory fades!
Bollywood has never been short of wannabes who would go to any extent to work with a big banner. Even if that means, turning their career on its head overnight.
Vidya Malvade was hardly noticed in the industry even though she has done quite a few films.
Although, none of these films even looked like they would do any wonders at the box office. And they didn‘t, by the way!
Her debut in the crappy Vikram Bhatt movie ‘Inteha‘ did nothing for her. The Bitch never heard of her other movies, ‘Mashooka‘ and ‘Benaam‘. After all, they look more like B-grade movies if not anything else.
Then she got her golden opportunity with Yash Raj‘s ‘Chak De India‘. Unfortunately, here too she had a dozen other girls to compete with.
Now with ‘Chak De India‘ behind her, she‘s right where she belongs and that‘s nowhere. She‘s hardly got any roles and ended up settling for the role of a mother.
Yes, you heard it right. Vidya will be playing the role of Minissha Lamba‘s mother in Sanjay Gandhvi‘s ‘Kidnap‘.
What is it with all the Vidyas of the industry? Only elderly roles seem to be suiting them.

The Bitch can‘t even fathom the fact that Minissha is playing the role of an 18 year old (her face easily gives away her age) and Sanjay Dutt plays her father.
Dutt seems to have really lost it. Imran Khan is the only actor in the movie who plays his age.
Almost everything seems to be going right for this Khan kid!
Recently, Vidya was also seen in the famous reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi‘ hosted by Akshay Kumar. Interestingly this show also featured Sonali Kulkarni who made a similar move many years ago. She played Sanjay Dutt‘s wife and Hrithik Roshan‘s mother in ‘Mission Kashmir‘ and expected great roles to come to her after that! Vidya seems to be sailing in the same boat as her.
By the way, in this show too, Vidya managed to do nothing great and The Bitch remembers Akshay calling her a loser as well.
Considering that she‘s been chosen to play the role of an elderly lady, The Bitch has few options but to agree with what Akshay had to say!
