These telly girls need style therapy
Post Sharukh Khan, every singleTV actor aspires to make it big in apna Bollywood. However, very few of them are actually gifted with the brain to realize, that a unique sense of style, is a sine qua non to sustain here.
Our very own Vidya Balan is the benchmark. Despite being given a break by Vidhoo Vinod Chopra, and after a stint of almost four years in the industry, she still continues to dress in a manner, that would put even the original behenjis to shame.
Even Manish Malhotra couldn‘t have done much, to make her look better in ‘Hey Babby‘ with her flab and tyres.
So much so that a top designer stopped communicating with her, when she experimented with one of his creations to make her own designer wear.
A peek at this white outfit would say it all. Doesn‘t it look like something the local tailor cooked up?The belt looks tacky. The whole outfit is so eighties!
Another telly girl, who is all set to join the Bollywood rat race is Aamna Sharif, with her yet to be released movie, ‘Sab Se Peechhe Hum Khade Hain‘. Giving her tough competition for the coveted crown of Miss worst dressed wannabe star is Shweta Salve. Making her debut in the same movie, as Sangeeta, she displayed an equally awful sense of style, wrapping something shiny around her.
Doesn‘t it look like the black plastic bags we use for garbage bins? The pair of boots looks equally revolting. Girls, avoid being a laughing stock and don‘t screw up your careers right at the outset.
Not all wannabe stars from tellywood are fortunate enough to get their first break in a Vikram Bhatt film. However, Roshni Chopra doesn‘t seem to value that. She is taking things so casually that she almost ended up wearing a outfit which looked like vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce. Even a child would know that the combination of white and brown looks awful in satin.
With so many aspiring Tanushree Duttas, and Mallika Sherawats thronging Bollywood day in and day out,with this kind of fashion faux pas, it wouldn‘t be long before these actresses are replaced in their very first movies.
